After what feels like forever, but is more like four years, I am saying goodbye to Tottenham and my little baking business.
I feel incredibly grateful to have gotten the opportunity to bake for my local community and spread joy through sourdough bread and vegan pastries, babkas and cookies. Thank you to everyone who bought my bakes from and . I loved it when you said hi when I was dropping off my bakes 😊
I will still use this account to share any fun things I’m baking, but for now I don’t have any plans to restart my baking business as it’s time for something new! ✨
Thank you to the loveliest community and customers I could have asked for 😊

Last week I had the privilege of visiting .the.miller.at.y.felin while staying in St Dogmaels in Wales.
I got to meet Emma, who mills the flour and wow, what a beautiful product she is making! I made a loaf of my standard sourdough but used mostly the Y Felin flour and whoa, talk about active dough, as you can see in the last photo that it’s overprooved!
But who cares because it tastes amazing and the texture is gorgeous 🤩
I cannot recommend enough stopping by the Y Felin mill if you’re in West Wales as there are so few (only 3!) that are still making flour this way.

From every angle this looks amazing! Apple on apple sourdough babka.
Homemade apple jam with apple pieces and a touch of brown sugar and cinnamon sprinkled through, need I say more!!
I’m thinking a new addition for the next few weeks 🍏🍎.
