Ana Cardetas Postpartum Doula Supporting overwhelmed new mums 🤍
Postpartum recovery & emotional support
Feel calmer, supported & less alone
⬇️ Gentle guide for support Thanks

My name is Ana, i am originally from Portugal and moved to London in 2007. I moved to London, alone, after graduating in Portugal. I had no job and was looking for adventure, new opportunities. That same year I did a volunteer work in India, so I guess I just couldn’t settle there. I came to London with the intention of studding Web Design to add to my Marketing degree but life here guided me towa

rds my true passion. While working in a bakery to survive, things just started to unfold and very quickly I realized I was not here to master myself as a Marketeer or Web Designer. It was in London I built a family and with motherhood i found my calling, my passion. I do offer postnatal support to families. During Postnatal, which I consider to be an extremely important period, all the support and help is crucial so the mother can recover from birth, and have a gentle transition into motherhood. I will help with anything you need, around the house, do some cleaning, make sure there is clean laundry, can cook, get other children from school, going out for a walk with you, or just staying with the baby so you can get a relaxing bath, or simply rest and sleep. I am happy to go to the shop if you need anything, i can support with breastfeeding, borrow books. I am not judgmental, I am open minded, flexible, good listener and I am happy to support you in your journey to make it your very special and unique journey. Your journey your rules, I am here to support you! Contact me for availability!

The First Weeks Are Hard… And That’s Okay ✨

The first weeks after your baby arrives are full of love, but also sleepless nights, sore bodies, and endless worry. đź’›

Here’s what many mums face:

Sleep deprivation

Breastfeeding challenges

Healing bodies & aches

Mood swings & baby blues

Feeling isolated or overwhelmed

Remember: You’re not failing. You’re doing one of the hardest jobs in the world. 🌸

Practical tip to help:

Ask for help—let someone do a meal, a wash, or hold the baby while you nap.

đź’Ś You are enough. You are seen. You are loved.

🥰I put more of this in my guide (link in bio)

Mothers would reach out to me in their most vulnerable moments, searching for support in the depths of postpartum despair. And it made me realise something heartbreaking—there is so much care and preparation for birth, yet almost nothing for what comes after.

After the baby arrives, mothers are sent home… to navigate healing bodies, overwhelming emotions, and a completely new identity—often feeling lost and alone.

I hear you. I see you. I am a mother too.

The fourth trimester is real. It is raw, transformative, and often unspoken.

And I wish someone had prepared me for it, too.

So I created a simple postpartum recovery guide to help you feel:
- less overwhelmed
- more in control
- and actually supported

Inside, you’ll learn:
- what your body really needs after birth
- how to recover without pressure
- how to take care of yourself while caring for your baby
