When it comes to fried chicken, simplicity is key.
However, the process that goes into making the perfect fried chicken although indeed simple leaves you with a burger that hits so many different spots. It is the ultimate comfort food.
We start by brining our chicken for 24 hours in Tea to add moisture, tenderize and add a subtle smokiness to the meat. From here we marinade in a combination of buttermilk and Gochujang paste to add heat before coating in our secret blend of spices and flour.
This leaves the fryer crispy, golden and incredibly juicy with flavors, texture and spice hitting the mouth from all angles.
The natural acidity of the pickles offsets this, and the buttermilk herb mayo helps take out any heat that would overpower the spices shining through.
