I don’t typically write posts about joining directories or being listed somewhere. But this one feels different, and for obvious reasons, I felt compelled to.
I’m really proud to say that Razzmatazz Cakes is now a member of the Rebel Love Wedding Directory. 🏳️🌈
As a cisgender, heterosexual woman and an LGBTQ+ ally, I know that inclusivity isn’t about simply saying “everyone is welcome here”. It’s about making sure people can actually see that they are welcome, represented and respected, before they ever have to ask.
Wedding suppliers are invited into such a personal and important part of a couple’s life. Nobody should have to wonder whether they’ll be comfortable talking about their partner, whether their relationship will be understood, or whether they’ll be treated differently because of who they love or how they identify.
That’s why being part of Rebel Love means something to me.
For me, allyship isn’t a badge, a rainbow added to a logo once a year, or something to mention only during Pride. It’s something I want reflected in the way I run my business, the language I use, the couples I represent and, most importantly, the way people feel when they come through my door.
I make wedding cakes for couples. All couples.
And I want every person who considers Razzmatazz Cakes for their wedding to know from the very beginning that they are welcome here. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I’m incredibly pleased to be joining a directory that helps LGBTQ+ couples find wedding suppliers who are committed to making their wedding planning experience a welcoming and inclusive one.
Proud LGBTQ+ ally. Proud Rebel Love Directory member. Proud to create cakes that celebrate your story, your way. 🏳️🌈
