With only 2 weeks to go until Easter, it’s time for some egg-stravagance… Our choux puffs were first introduced last year and you all absolutely loved them, so there was no choice but to bring them back to celebrate this Spring season! They make an indulgent and delicious sweet treat for any Easter celebration, and they are sure to have you feeling nostalgic 🐣
 
Choose from classic vanilla & pistachio or rich chocolate & hazelnut - either way, one of these puffs is sure to satisfy. They are made with choux pastry and filled with creamy and moreish fillings, topped with either plain or cocoa craquelin and praline mini eggs.
 
Available from now until Tuesday 22nd April for our wholesale customers, and for our Greenwich locals, in store daily throughout this period.

Hot Cross Buns are back! Soft, sticky and perfectly balanced, our buns are gently spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves for a warm and comforting flavour. Each bite is packed with sultanas, currants, cranberries and mixed citrus peel, creating the perfect blend of sweetness and spice - with a traditional cross piped over the top to finish. However you prefer to have them - toasted, spread with butter or jam, or just enjoyed on their own - we believe they are an utterly delicious treat at any time of the day!
 
For our wholesale customers, available from now until Tuesday 22nd April in regular and mini sizes, as well as in retail packs. Also available in-store until 22nd April for our Greenwich locals.

We are excited to bring some love this Valentine’s Day… coming to you in the form of some delicious treats to celebrate with! Our Valentine's collection brings a touch of romance with beautifully-crafted sweet treats, only available for a limited time. 💖
 
Our Dark Chocolate & Raspberry Love Hearts feature a flavour combination that’s a match made in heaven. Sharp and sweet raspberry ganache is sandwiched between two heart-shaped dark chocolate shortbreads - these biscuits are the perfect treat, on their own or with a hot drink.
 
Love is in the Écl-air! A crisp, home-made choux pastry is filled with rose crème pâtissière before being dipped in a beautiful pale pink chocolate icing and decorated with pistachios and rose petals - the daintiest Valentine's treat.
 
Available from Wednesday 5th February until Monday 17th February for our wholesale customers, and for our Greenwich locals, in store daily throughout this period.

We’re excited to introduce two delicious new cakes to our range - which also happen to be vegan, and made with ingredients we all recognise, no overly processed alternatives here.

The development has been a labour of love, and we have achieved our mission to create cakes that everyone can enjoy, vegan or not.

Indulge in our Banana Chocolate Chip and Berry cakes, both highly rated by our bakery team!
 
🍌Banana Chocolate Chip combines the natural sweetness of ripe bananas with dark chocolate chips running throughout. As a finishing touch, the cake is sprinkled with demerara sugar before baking, creating a sensational sugary crust.
 
🫐Berry is packed with a vibrant mix of juicy wild blueberries and raspberries for a burst of fruity flavour, in a tangy lemony sponge. The cakes are then finished with raspberry glaze.
 
Available as loaf cakes and muffins from 5th February for our wholesale customers, and for our Greenwich locals, loaf cakes in store daily from 5th Feb also!

British forced rhubarb is officially here - the much-anticipated season of our favourite pink vegetable (yes, it’s not a fruit!) has arrived! We’re excited to share a new seasonal product which showcases the delicate texture, vibrant colour, and the unique flavour of forced rhubarb - our Rhubarb & Cream Cheese Danish.
 
We’re thrilled to bring back this favourite every year - perfectly-poached forced rhubarb sitting on top of the crisp and flaky folded croissant, on a bed of whipped and slightly sweetened cream cheese. 
 
Available to order in both regular and mini sizes for wholesale customers from now until the end of the season, and for our Greenwich locals, in store daily from tomorrow onwards.

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Soda Bread recipe ☘️

This development came about with the team wanting to continuously improve and develop a truly authentic soda bread recipe, and this one has come from Ireland! The recipe follows the tradition of copious amounts of buttermilk bound together with some of the best, 100% organic, coarse stoneground wholemeal flour 
 
After some very positive development feedback, we have decided to launch our luxurious Fruit & Nut Soda Bread alongside our new Classic Soda Bread.
Based off a traditional soda bread mix made with organic wholemeal flour and buttermilk, there is a very generous amount of dried whole figs, dried apricots, sultanas, skin-on almonds, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds. This loaf is baked in a tin so you are able to get consistent size slices in your desired thickness- it slices extremely well thinly, perfect for making fruit bread crisps. It is super versatile for any sweet or savoury dishes.
 
Both products will be available in 2 sizes: a small and long tin.

Summer arrivals – Tarte Fines! 🍅🍏☀️

It’s important in Paul Rhodes Bakery that we are intentional with the products we develop. We wanted to find a way to use up croissant trimmings to minimise our waste. All the trimmings are gathered together, re-laminated, then cut into discs. We have used some of UK’s best seasonal ingredients for our toppings - Isle of Wight tomatoes and British apples.

TOMATO ROASTED GARLICN& THYME 🍅🧄
Our Tomato, Roasted Garlic and Thyme Tarte Fines are made with a layer of roasted garlic puree topped with slices of Isle of Wight tomatoes and fresh thyme leaves. Baked to perfection, they are finished with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

APPLE 🍏
Our Apple Tarte Fines are made with a layer of home-made apple compote and slices of apples. They are baked until the apples are tender, and pastry is crisp and golden brown.

Welcome to our new Seasonal Wild Garlic Pastry! 🌱🧄

We get endless requests for more savoury pastries and with one of UK’s favourite seasonal ingredients, wild garlic, coming into availability, we had to create something absolutely delicious with it.

The croissant tart is filled with sautéed chard, wild garlic and enwrapped in a rich béchamel sauce. The croissant dough becomes a crispy, crunchy vessel holding the creamy, super savoury filling. Topped with pine nuts and cheesy bread crumbs over the top and around the edges of the pastry, adding extra umami and nuttiness to the whole pastry.

If you are a lover of wild garlic and are looking to expand your savoury offering, this is a must this season!

What better way to welcome the spring season than with these very adorable and very extravagant choux puffs? They make a most indulgent and fabulous sweet treat for any Easter celebration. Whether you love something tangy and bright or something rich and nutty, one of these puffs is sure to satisfy. Made with choux pastry and topped with either plain or cocoa craquelin, these puffs are filled with creamy and moreish fillings. Decorated like little birds’ nests, these are sure to keep your customers feeling nostalgic over this Easter season.
 
The Lemon & Pistachio Puffs are filled and decorated with bright, tangy and creamy lemon buttercream and then sprinkled with roasted chopped pistachios and mini praline eggs.
 
The Chocolate & Hazelnut Puffs are filled and decorated with chocolate hazelnut ganache and sprinkled with caramelized hazelnut crunchies and mini praline eggs.
