The penultimate entry on our list, this time featuring sauces with unusual ingredients, we welcome to with their "Loopy Lemon Drop" sweet chilli sauce. Hailing from Teddington, which is in Southwest London, makes a nice little range of sauces and rubs, mainly made with sweet, fruity flavours. *

Now, I'll get this out of the way. I absolutely love lemon. Lemon sweets, lemon alcoholic beverages, lemon desserts... basically if it has 🍋 in it, I'll probably like it. So you can imagine I was very excited to try this sauce. One of my favourite dishes from a Chinese takeaway is Lemon Chicken, so I thought, I'll make my own!
I made some panko breadcrumbed chicken (Sadly I forgot to actually take photos of it!) And drizzled this sauce all over it!

This is one of those sauces where I hate the fact it's in such a small bottle! It's a gloriously sweet sauce with a subtle little sour kick. The lemon flavor isn't too overpowering (A wise choice, I'd hate for this to essentially become spicy zest) but it lingers on your tongue for a while after. It isn't spicy (To me anyway) so you can be as liberal as you want with it without the risk of getting overwhelmed. This is perfect for chicken, or even mixing with a bit of rice for something different and strange. A fantastic sauce, different enough to make you go "Ooh" but this would make a brilliant sauce for introducing yourself to chilli. The perfect sauce for a fakeaway too!
