😢⚠️NEWS ALERT😢⚠️
Heartbroken 💔 but I’m so sad to say that we will be closing our doors in the next week or so (just finalising legals) - so exact date to follow.
There’s a number of reasons but the main one is that I have had twins (Betsy & Reggie 🥰) and they are taking up all my time and energy and juggling cakes and babies is turning out to be too tricky, especially as we don’t live in London and can’t pop in and catch up with the team.
Other reasons being the difficulty in finding staff in this current mad climate and the forever rising costs 😩
I set up P&G in 2013, blood sweat and tears have gone into my little cake baby. I’ve worked my socks off and it’s been so incredible to meet so many of you and I feel honoured to have made cakes for you! I’m SO SAD saying goodbye for now and goodbye to our shop but it’s the right thing to do 💖.
BUT….I’m not closing the business for good. I’m just looking after my human babies for a bit. I really want to write a recipe book - that’s hopefully going to happen quite soon. But I’m hoping we’ll be able to make the P&G cakes again somewhere sometime! Please keep following for what’s to come and keep in touch 💞.
Over the years I’ve had an amazing team, incredible bakers, baristas, FOH and I’ve been lucky enough to make friends for life, and have a lot of fun at work!!
Since I’ve been a mum the team have worked so hard and I’m so incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done. Some awesome cakes 🙌🏼 and thank you for all your hard work (I know it’s been full on) and 💖 thank you 🙏

For anyone asking we will be selling a few things like tins, moulds, utensils. We’ll be putting these on Instagram on Monday.
