I always wanted to try making those gorgeous butter cookies by and finally had the chance to do them this week.
The recipe worked like a treat, the dough didn’t spread and they came out absolutely cute.
Will definitely try the Easter bunny version next 🐰🥕

Chocolate & vanilla sponge layers, filled with Nutella buttercream, decorated with a shiny chocolate ganache drip and lots of chocolates.

Roasted vegetable soup 🍅🫑🌶️🥕🧄🧅
Perfect to use up all the veggies in the fridge that are not so fresh anymore.
Super healthy and delicious too!!

I used tomatoes, carrots, peppers, onions, celery and garlic. Topped with pepper, salt, oregano and olive oil.

Roasted at 200 degrees (fan oven) for 40 minutes, then purred, added a tin of tomatoes, vegetable stock and a bit of peri peri salt.

Served with a mix of cottage cheese, feta, cheddar, honey, pepper and chilly salt.

That’s my 5-a-day sorted ☺️🍵

Hope you all had a good start to the new year 2026 💕
I’ve been going through my phone and found a lot of cake pictures that I have never posted, so I will upload a few of them in the next days whilst also getting ready for my first orders of this year.
Let’s start with this chocolate drip cake. This is one of my signature cake styles and definitely one of my favourites!
