I had the absolute pleasure of setting up this 4 tier beauty for the lovely Gemma and Simon who got married at Brunswick House, Vauxhall on Friday - such a gorgeous venue.

The couple wanted something classic and elegant and by the request of the bride, to include in the design a little node to the smallest member of the family - their cat Chutney! Silver leaf was a must and I added a delicate side ruffle to give the cake a little extra Wow!

Flavours chosen were; Luxe Jamaican Fruit Cake, Cookies & Cream, Triple Chocolate Ganache and Rich Red Velvet 😍

A big thank you also to Bloom East for the gorgeous flowers that finished the cake off so beautifully.

Hello there! Happy Friday to all my wonderful followers old and new ☺️

I’m Amilia, Luxury Wedding Cake Artist and the face behind Amilia Elizabeth Cake Design. I’m officially back to work following the birth of my beautiful twin girls, can’t quite believe it’s been 6 months already but I’m excited to get back to creating some beautiful wedding cakes for some really lovely couples this year!

As I’ve had a lot of new enquires and followers lately I thought this would be the perfect time to reintroduce myself and share a few random (hopefully interesting) facts about me. I’m also making it my business this year to show my face a little more, venturing out from behind the scenes, so hopefully you will enjoy seeing over time how I make all the magic happen 💫

So a few random facts about me…

👶🏽👶🏽 I am a twin and have just had twins! They usually say it skips a generation but not in this case 😅
🏋️‍♀️ I love to workout and strength training is my thing. I had to take a wee break while I was pregnant but slowly and surely I’m finding my groove again 😀
🧄 I absolutely love garlic - I mean who doesn’t? I would have it in everything if I could. I keep telling myself one day I will introduce a tasty recipe cake recipe and the secret ingredient will be garlic - watch this space! 😅
🌔 I am fascinated by the moon and I think I have now passed this onto my kids 🫣. One of my closest friends thinks I’m crazy and is always telling me to stop telling her about the moon 😆
🌊 My favourite place to be is by the sea. There’s just something about being near the water that calms me.
☕️ I absolutely love tea but for some reason I struggle to finish a whole cup. My husband laughs at me all the time and is always asking me why I haven’t drank all my tea - the thing is once it’s gone cold, it’s just not the same - I just can’t drink it and I hate topping it up with hot water.

This selection of sweet treats makes the perfect valentines gift for that very special someone. Share the LOVE and treat someone this Valentine’s Day 💕

Each box includes:

🤍 2x large cakesicles filled with our beautiful vanilla cake coated in Belgium white chocolate drizzled in more white chocolate and finished with freeze dried raspberry pieces and a pop of sprinkles.

🤍 1x geo heart filled with our red velvet cake and decorated with trinkets of edible gold leaf.

🤍 2x personalised biscuits, covered in marble fondant also finished with trinkets of edible gold leaf. Biscuits can be personalised with a message of choice!

Allergen info: Boxes may contain gluten, milk, eggs and dairy unless stated otherwise. They may also contain traces of nuts and soya.

Boxes will be posted out on Monday 13 February just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Congratulations to the beautiful couple Charlene & Shawn who got married at their family church, the Gospel Tabernacle last weekend.

There was something really special about this wedding. The venue was decorated by some lovely family and friends of the couple, so as you can imagine it had a real personal touch - you could tell it was done with so much love. This was a very intimate affair and I was honoured to be asked to make their wedding cake dreams come true.

The couple chose an elegant white and gold design adorned with handmade sugar flower details to match their wedding scheme 💕

It's been an extremely busy July full of weddings (I am certainly not complaining), but feeling really glad to have finally found time to schedule in some dates for my next tasting boxes.

For those of you who have enquired or are considering my services, the next date will be released very soon and boxes will be available to purchase via my shiny new website - also coming soon! ☺️

My taster boxes are available to EVERYONE to purchase (that's right, you don't have to be getting married), so whether you are getting married, feel like treating yourself or a loved to a birthday gift or just want to indulge in some yummy cake, this perfect little box will delight you.

When Talya contacted me asking me to make this very last minute for her garden wedding,  I was honoured and although not my usual style, I love how this simple wedding cake turned out!
