10 Years. A CTM Warrior.

This man. What a guy.

Incredibly hard-working, loyal, driven, and always puts his family first.

Juraj is someone to aspire to. He has a beautiful family, he’s kind, thoughtful, and always considers the team. If you ever needed help, he’d be there at the drop of a hat. In the kitchen he’s an absolute machine. He just gets the job done. He’s not a moaner, not a whiner, and you’ll never hear him talking behind someone’s back. But if something isn’t right, he’ll tell you. The kind of honesty every business needs.

Juraj joined CTM about two years into the journey. Up until then I’d been doing everything myself and was exhausted. I desperately needed someone full-time in the kitchen. Juraj was that person.

Not long after he joined, Anna gave birth to their amazing daughter, Luna. At the time I felt sorry for myself because I’d finally found help, only for him to be away. I didn’t have children then, so I didn’t understand.

Now I have two kids of my own, I look back completely differently. Juraj came back, never made a fuss, and just got on with it. While helping build CTM, he was also building an incredible family at home. I have huge admiration for the way he’s always balanced both.

One thing I’ll never forget was my birthday. Running a business can be lonely, and Anna and the kids made me a birthday cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I’ve never forgotten it.

Juraj, thank you for ten incredible years. Thank you for your loyalty, your hard work, your honesty, and for everything you’ve done for Cut The Mustard.

Businesses are built by people. You’ve been one of the most important people in ours.

If you notice the little things—the cleanliness of a coffee machine, a customer waiting to be served, a pastry that isn’t quite right—you’ll probably fit in well here.

Cut the Mustard is on the hunt for an Assistant Manager to help run the show at our Franciscan Road spot. If you can keep the vibes high, the team tight, and the coffee flowing — we should talk.

✨ You:
– Can lead a shift without losing your head (or your sense of humour)
– Love great coffee, even better pastries, and properly looked-after customers
– Know how to keep things smooth when it’s busy busy
– Are organised, proactive, and not afraid to make decisions
– Bring good energy and set the tone for the team
– Have some experience in hospitality/FOH (bonus points if you’ve done a bit of everything)

Big Mustard is looking for an Assistant Manager: part shift-runner, part vibe-protector, full-time legend.
You’ll help keep the floor running like a well-buttered machine — great service, strong standards, happy team, zero drama (ok, minimal drama).

You’ll be great if you:

can lead a rush without turning into a shouty weirdo
love hospitality + genuinely like people
are organised, proactive, and properly hands-on
care about the details (coffee, pastries, clean sections, sharp service)
What you’ll do:
run shifts + support the Manager
coach the team (kindly, consistently, actually)
keep service smooth, fast, and friendly
help with rotas, training, stock, and opening/closing
spot problems early and fix them quietly like a ninja
