Mille-feuille or mil-feuille has its origin in France in 1651, when it was created by François Pierre de La Varenne, but the candy only gained fame in 1867 when the famous confectioner Adolphe Seugnot opened a shop in central Paris and began sell dessert.
There are several ways to present this sweet, this one I had the pleasure to learn how to make I used the puff pastry and put 2 layers on the base I filled it with a strawberry jelly and chantelin cream, on the top layer I filled it with vanilla-flavored Crème pastissiere, finishing with impalpable sugar. A real delight!!!!

O Mille-feuille ou mil-folhas tem sua origem na França em 1651, quando foi criado por François Pierre de La Varenne, mas o doce só ganhou fama em 1867 quando o famoso confeiteiro Adolphe Seugnot abriu uma loja no centro de Paris e começou a vender a sobremesa.
Existe diversas formas de se apresentar este doce, este que tive o prazer aprender a confeccionar eu usei a massa foleada e montei 2 camadas na base eu rechei com uma geleia de marango e por cima da mesma um creme chantelin na camada de cima eu preenchi com creme de confeiteiro sabor vanilha dando o acabamento com o açucar impalpável. Uma verdadeira delícia !!!!

The Linzer Torte ("Linz pie" often "Linz pie") is a pie of Austrian origin, with a braid on top. It is usually based on blackcurrant (Austria and Switzerland) or raspberry jam (in Germany and Alsace). Its name refers to a geographical indication, in particular to the city of Linz, but also to a generic name referring to the name of its folder (Linzerteig - “Pasta Linz”).
The dough is crunchy and very tasty for those who like almonds as it is 50% wheat flour and 50% almond flour.
The Linzer Torte recipe is considered one of the oldest pie recipes. The first recipe for Linzer Torte dates from a 1653 manuscript kept at Admont Abbey in Styria.

O Linzer Torte (" torta de Linz " com freqüência " torta Linz") é uma torta de origem austríaca , com uma trança por cima. É geralmente à base de compota de groselha (Áustria e Suíça) ou framboesa (na Alemanha e Alsácia ). O seu nome refere-se a uma indicação geográfica, em particular à cidade de Linz, mas também a um nome genérico referente ao nome da sua pasta ( Linzerteig - “Pasta Linz”).
A massa é crocante e muito saborosa para quem gosta de amêndoa pois é 50% farinha de trigo e 50% farinha de amendôa .

This sweet is called Paris Brest, it is interesting and has a very mild flavor and a very crazy sweet filling. It was created in 1910 and named Paris Brest in honor of the long-distance bicycle race called Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP), which began in 1891. Initially it was 1,200km from Paris to Brest and back to Paris, Over the years this race has undergone some changes, but it still takes place every 4 years and only with the participation of amateur athletes. The dessert shape is inspired by the bicycle wheel, round with a hole in the middle. The candy dough is the same as the famous Prolifetterol and it is filled with an almond cream and decorated with almond Lancaster. A very delicate candy because this circle is very thin and crunchy. It's just worth a try.

Este doce se chama Paris Brest, é interessante e possui um sabor bem suave e com muto louco doce no recheio. Foi criado em 1910 e nomeado Paris Brest em homenagem à corrida de bicicleta de longa distância chamada Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP), que teve início em 1891. Inicialmente eram 1.200km de percurso de Paris até Brest e de volta a Paris, ao longo dos anos essa corrida sofreu algumas modificações, mas ela acontece até hoje de 4 em 4 anos e somente com a participação de atletas amadores.O formato da sobremesa é inspirada na roda da bicicleta, redonda com um furo no meio. A massa do doce é a mesma das famosas carolinas (bombas), chamada de Prolifetterol e é recheada com um creme de amêndoas e decorado com Lancaster de amêndoas. Um doce muitíssimo delicado pois este círculo é bem fino e crocante. Vale apenas experimentar.

I started level 3 baking course at Lambeth college, and I'm learning so much cool stuff. This week I learned how to make the Gateau St Honore which is a classic sweet from French cuisine created by chef Chiboust in 1840. The base is a very crispy puff pastry. Around it we have a doll covered with crème patissière topped with whipped cream to taste vanilla. The creation process was in several stages: this sweet has 2 different types of dough, delicacy in the cream and a little sophistication in the presentation. The knowledge is incredible, I loved it.

Eu começei o nivel 3 do curso deconfeitaria
em Lambeth college, e estou aprendendo tanta coisa legal . Esta semana eu aprendi como se faz o Gateau St Honore que é um doce classico da culinária francesa criado pelo chefe Chiboust em 1840. A base é uma massa foleada bem crocante . Ao redor temos bonbinha reacheadoas com creme pâtissière coberta com creme chantelly sabor baunilha. O processo de criação foi em variárias etapas : este doce possui 2 tipos de massa diferentes, delicadeza no cream e um pouco de sofisticação na aprensentação. O saber é incrível , adorei.
