Our Story
South East Bakery was founded in 1991 by Leo Andrews and his wife Amanda Andrews. The company originated from a small unit on St George's way in Peckham and within three years, expanded into a larger premises on Southampton Way. Then we needed a larger premises and moved to Beckenham kent house lane for 15 years Since then, South East Bakery re-located to New Addington vulcan way In July 2018 their current site at , south London.. The bakery continues to trade under the same directors - Leo, his wife and now his children. All members of staff are fully trained in food safety and manufacturing which is reflected in their high levels of products and servicing. As a result of the company's high standards, they rightfully earned a salsa accreditation which became a gateway for further development with some of the industry's largest suppliers, such as Makro (Cash and Carry), Bookers, Asda distribution, Enterprise foods, chained supermarkets, hotels, hospitals, care homes, schools and prisons. We also have a large volume of companies such as cafe's, snack bars & catering companies which have been held since the bakery first opened. South East Bakery also understand the importance of bringing in high-quality products from outside the business and this is highlighted by their associated trade with leading brands such as Kingsmill, Hovis, Mothers Pride, Sunblest and Roberts.
