Harmless myth (?) of the day is the pondering of honey and hayfever. at a very basic level ---- bees pollinate flowers, spread the pollen power, stockpiling those nectar points in order to produce your pot of gold.
As the saying goes; 'keep your friends close, but your enemies closer'. If you eat the honey (which contains the pollen from the areas that you frequent) and you suffer from hayfever then basically you dont have hayfever anymore...
At this point, as there are not any serious scientific studies on the matter, this of course may or may not be true. HOWEVER, what can be said is that probably maybe quite a lot of people think honey is nice, and we have heard that bees are also nice and good for lots of things. It's just another string in their golden bow. The London Honey Company know it too. Unpasturised London Honey for your particular brand of London Hayfever. Shropshire, Kent, Salisbury styles of hayfever mitigation strategy also getting a sweet mention. Serve in tea, on toast or by the spoon.
