There’s a lot that goes into making your favourite baklawa.

From carefully sorting through the nuts by hand and removing any imperfections, to making and layering each sheet of pastry one by one, every step is done with care.

The nuts are prepared, the layers are built, and each tray is carefully cut before going into the oven. Once it’s baked to that perfect golden colour, it’s finished with syrup and left to settle into all those layers.

So here’s a small glimpse into some of the process that goes into creating your favourite baklawa, from the little details you don’t always get to see, to the final piece you know and love. 🤎
