She will arrive with 17 things to do, 4 new business ideas, a cake order she forgot she agreed to, and absolutely no intention of sitting down despite desperately needing to sit down.
She will say “I’m just going to quickly…” and then somehow start three businesses, reorganise the kitchen, bake 100 cakes and redesign her entire social media strategy.
Do not tell her “don’t worry about it.” She will worry about it harder.
She has an impressive ability to catastrophise a situation while simultaneously being completely capable of fixing it herself.
She cares WAY too much. About her family. Her business. Her customers. Whether someone has enough cake. Whether a TikTok got 8 followers. Whether she has disappointed someone. Whether everyone else is okay.
She will probably underestimate herself, then casually do something that would make most people collapse.
She is stubborn. Emotional. Funny. Impulsive. Intensely loyal. Slightly chaotic. And her brain has approximately 47 tabs open at all times, 12 of which are playing music and nobody knows where it's coming from.
But here's the important bit:
Once Abby loves you, you're basically screwed.
She'll feed you, worry about you, defend you, make you laugh, remember tiny things you've forgotten telling her, and probably send you home with cake.
So yes, she's hard work.
But she's the sort of hard work you end up being incredibly grateful you signed up for. ❤️
