Headed up by Katherine Lockwood and Liz Whitaker, and their team of talented bakers and baristas, we love being in the centre of a wonderful neighbourhood. We know there’s nothing quite like a freshly baked loaf, that’s why
we make all our breads and baked goods by hand, from scratch
each day in our bakery in the heart of Stoke Newington Church Street. We also know delicious bread takes time, so w

e slow down the process. letting our dough mature overnight. allowing a fuller flavour
& superior texture to develop. You won’t find any nasties in our breads, just simple ingredients handled with care and attention. A proper loaf from a proper bakery.

The art department has gone to the pub, and someone’s eaten all the hot cross buns… how the hell are we going to tell you about our Easter Weekend special?!

Bacon rolls are ON tomorrow (Good Friday) and Saturday. We’re closed on Sunday, so get ‘em, quite literally, while they are hot. If you ask nicely, we’ll even stick in an HXB, ya filthy animal.

This Halloween we’re taking part in the Trick or Eat Trail between 4pm and 6pm - collecting vital supplies for Hackney Foodbank (remember, we close at 5pm, so do feel free to pop in earlier in the day!)

Lots of local homes and businesses are taking part in the trail. It’s a really fun way of celebrating Halloween while supporting people experiencing hardship. Check out the map at www.trickoreat.co.uk!

We’ve got some very special treat bags for the kids today, so do come and see us when you’re out trick or treating.

🏖️ HOLIDAY CLOSURE HEADS UP! 🏖️

Our retail bakery will be closed for our annual summer break, so our team can catch up on some 😴, and the shop can get a bit of a glow up 💅
