Thailand here I come... Handmade crochet mesh cardigan for covering up when I visit ancient temples!

Neurographica 🤝 Kinusaiga.

Neurographica is a drawing method that uses free-flowing, organic lines and the deliberate rounding of intersections to shift thought patterns and open up new neural pathways. Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese no-sew fabric art technique where scraps are pressed into a foam board to create rich, textured pictures.

I wanted to see what happened if I combined them, so I used fabric instead of colour to fill the Neurographic spaces. Each section chosen intuitively. No colour plan, no fabric scheme — just reach and respond. The navy yarn outlines came last, to bring the Neurographic lines back to the surface, hopefully helping to rewire those neural pathways 🤞

The universe can consider itself notified. 🖤✨

Uh oh! Found a new hobby... Kinusaiga - a Japanese art form that combines traditional textiles techniques with modern materials and methods. Thank you to the .art - I bought this box months and months ago and been saving it!! (No idea why - wish I'd started sooner...) Loved making this ... But now anythings possible - gtg and make more ....
