I suffer from a genetic condition called Ataxia Telengiectasia (A-T). Ataxia Telegiectasia (A-T) is a degenerative genetic condition with very limited treatment options and no cure so far. By 10, affected children will most likely be in a wheelchair, and develop cancer or lung disease by their teens. They probably won't live beyond their mid 20s.The A-T Society supports children and families and g

ives them hope. They work to improve quality of life and medical care for people with A-T and they fund research to find a cure.
100% of the money I earn from baking for events will be donated to the A-T Society.

I haven't done a drip cake in a while so it was on this cake that I discovered I could no longer keep my hands steady enough to do the drip ☹️

I was gutted, but luckily I have my sous chef, aka mum, to help me with the drip 🥰

Cake decorating is my happy place 😊

This is me applying buttercream to the cake before I smooth it.

I use acrylic discs to achieve straight and smooth sides 🩵

Having AT means A LOT gets stolen from you. Co-ordination, walking, speech, independence etc. So understandably, people with AT can fall into a negative head space (I wanted to keep this post short so "negative head space" is putting it lightly!)

Doing things I'm good at is one of the ways I can stay positive 😊

🩵☁️🛩️ all about aeroplanes 🛩️☁️🩵

This aeroplane loving little man spent his birthday at the RAF museum. And obviously, had an aeroplane on his cake.

I was hesitant about making the plane figure myself, but because the customer was so encouraging and supportive of me, I had a go and pleasantly surprised myself 😊

Complete with 3D fondant clouds and hot air balloons, I loved how this cake turned out.

☕🧸 A Baby Is Brewing 🧸☕

You guys know how much I love photographing my cakes and how much I love seeing my cakes in their new home.

So I always feel privileged and extra lucky to attend events and see. The cake display first hand!

I love how the cake matches the balloon arch and the baby block decor and looks so good together!

Everything ties in so well and it makes my cakey sing! 😄

A massive congratulations to the mum and dad to be! We can't wait to meet the little one ❤️

☕🧸 A Baby Is Brewing 🧸☕

I can't begin to describe how much fun I had making this coffee themed baby shower cake for my sister in law.

Down to the huge coffee mug to the cute little baby blocks to teddy's own little coffee mug, I got to be as creative as I wanted and I loved every minute of it 🤎

I'm so excited to be a Fai/Phua to this little one and trust me when I say I've already started planning their first birthday cake!

Every year I get the pleasure of making cupcakes for the charity golf day.

This year, our chairwoman of the Board and fellow trustee, Rachel , volunteered on the day for the event. I took this opportunity to ask for a few snaps of my cupcakes with a few golf props etc, just to make the photos different to my regular cupcake photos.

And boy did Rachel deliver! She sent me over 40 snaps of my cupcakes looking completely fab in different locations around the gold club!!

You guys know I love taking photos of cakes just as much as I love making them. So colour me impressed!

Thank you to all the volunteers and golfers who took part on the day. You had such great weather! I hope you all had a fantastic day!

✨🍫 Easter Sunday 🐣🌸

Happy Easter 2026 guys!

We have a continuous supply of mini eggs in our house right now (partially perpetuated by me 😬) 😂

So naturally, I folded through some crushed mini eggs into a chocolate cake batter and baked it! 😋

I just wanted chocolate cake, so I didn't plan or design anything fancy for the cake, hence it's a little rustic 😅

Whimsical tree stump cake for little Roshan's 2nd birthday ❤️

I absolutely love customers like these. They gave me a list of Roshan's current favourites of butterflies to buses to his little toy Dyson hoover, and said "Jilly work your magic"

Complete trust and full creative freedom 🥰

I used a silicone impression mat to create the tree bark texture and hand made the butterflies and toadstool mushrooms.

Happy International Women's Day to all ladies out there who help, support and inspire kindness to everyone.

Today we celebrate lifting each other up and cheering each other on, and not dimming anyone else's light, just so you can shine brighter.

My first ever best friend, my sister, Anika, does exactly this. Holding my hand, as we slide through life together, since we were kids to now, we've cheered eachother on, especially throughout our ventures of and .

Anika is a lactation consultant at Nurture and Feed, so on top of being a fab sister, she helps women and mothers through breastfeeding education and their breastfeeding journey.

Having a blast with doing little fondant bits on my own again 🥳

I didn't realise just how much I enjoyed it until I restarted it after struggling to model for what seems like ages.

Don't get me wrong, I still struggle, I still have tremors, my hands still shake... But it seems to have lessened enough for me to start making fondant bits again.

I won't sit here and tell you I'm great at making fondant figures free hand.

Because the truth is, I'm not. There are far more skilled fondant people out there.

But what I do love is trying. And when I'm having a good day (Ataxia wise) I succeed and I make something I'm really really proud of.

It may not be perfect but it's something where I can say "I did that". And saying that, is one of the best feelings ❤️
