Gulp! As much as we hate to say the C word in June, we're taking bookings for our festive show... fancy a wild sledge ride this Christmas in our heartwarming interactive festive offering: HO HO HO (A REALLY BIG NON-PANTO SHOW)?https://www.reallybigpants.co.uk/hohoho/

Alf is an elf on the edge. He's stuck selling trees on Christmas Eve and thinks his sister won't want him to spend Christmas with her as he can't afford a gift. Can a well-meaning really big fairy help him realise the season of goodwill is more about presence than presents…? Join us as we explore family values and Yuletide traditions in this thirty-minute show (and sing Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas with us), and then get crafty afterwards with our fun activities for the whole primary age range. During the show, Alf makes a simple picture frame from card. Children can make their own frames with us afterwards to give as homemade gifts. We provide the materials for these for public venues. We ho ho hope 'yule' love our show!

It's so we're sharing this pic from our show CLARE & CORY SHARE A (GLORIOUS) STORY for ages 3+. The story encourages children to learn about wildlife and their habitats and to protect the environment and nature on our one shared planet. One of our favourite moments is when we invite volunteers up to help us create the seaside... and discover why it's important not to chuck your really big pants in the ocean!

Can't wait to paddle at the beach this summer!

It’s so a buzzing brilliant excuse to share the lovely knitted patchwork blanket we use in our show COMFORT, complete with stitched bee (and B!) for the character Beanie.

COMFORT is our sensitive new show, dealing with bereavement and highlighting the importance of talking openly and honestly with children about death. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more about it and how we can perform it at your hospice or community venue - we are looking for grief support groups to partner with. Thank you. https://www.reallybigpants.co.uk/comfort/

We are honoured to be taking our sensitive new show COMFORT to Herefordshire next month to perform privately at St Michael's Hospice - Hereford as part of their work with Hope Support Services for children.

COMFORT focuses on bereavement, countered with humour and energy, to highlight the importance of talking openly and honestly with children about death.

Beanie is eight when her beloved mum dies in a hospice, leaving her with tangled memories and a carefully knitted blankie for comfort. What do you do when someone you love so much has gone forever? Beanie must navigate a new way of living, with friends, classmates, and adults unsure of how to behave with her.
But then the blanket goes missing at school. As Beanie’s world unravels, can a tight-knit community help her deal with her grief?

This 30-minute show acts as a springboard for discussion and raising awareness for support. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more about COMFORT and how we can bring it and the accompanying craft activities to your school, bereavement support network, hospice, or other setting.
Thank you.
Love Joe and Willow xx
