This little number is a my little girls 11th birthday cake - she designed it herself and wanted to combine her favourite things - a lemon sponge with lemon curd and chocolate ganache ( in blue) and Choux pastry filled with creme patissiere with a hint of orange. This was the detailed brief and she also did a helpful illustration of what she wanted it to look like! No pressure there! So this is the illustration and a picture of the finished product!
