I have been putting this off.
It doesn't really sit easily with me but I know it's the right thing to do.
After 20 years of varying success, hitting my peak in lock down making cakes to cheer you all when we couldn't go out to celebrate, I have decided to close the doors of For Heaven's Cakes in a fully professional capacity.
I love this little job. But, if I am honest, I never really committed to it fully because it could have been so much more and perhaps that should tell me all I need to know.
I will miss it though.
However, as you know I have been studying a Masters to become a Speech and Language Therapist and I am in the final stretch of exams and dissertation so can't afford the time for cake orders. Then, hopefully, I will be gainfully employed and still won't have much time. So, I need to pick a lane.
That's not to say that if you still want a For Heaven's Cake, and understand I am now just a home baker, I might be able to help. For family and friends, including those I have picked up as regulars over the last two decades!

And, I will still be here, as I haven't posted a fair few creations since starting my degree... So if you just like the pics, there's still an FHC portfolio to enjoy.
