And just like that… I’m back.

After taking a few weeks off to reset, realign and get those creative juices flowing again, Criollacakes is back.

No plan for this one.
I picked up the wafer paper, went with the flow and created. And I LOVE where it took me.

A little different. A little bolder. A lot more creativity.

The break is over… let’s create.

My girls had their hair done today and WOW… they look absolutely amazing!

By His Design Beauty- you were so patient, gentle and soft-handed.

Even my youngest, who normally cries whenever she has her hair done, didn’t cry once!
That alone says everything.

If you’re looking for a hairdresser who is patient, welcoming and truly has blessed hands, book in with By His Design Beauty.

You won’t be disappointed!

Made this one for Akira’s 9th birthday and had so much fun with all the little details.
The Jordans, basketballs, bold colours and that pop of red.

I love that her cake reflects what she loves ,because birthday cakes should always feel personal.

Happy 9th birthday Akira!

Another Criollacakes creation made with lots of love.

When the birthday boy is a DJ & radio host… the cake has to match the vibe!

Loved creating this dark navy & bronze 30th birthday cake for Nelson.

From the headphones and musical notes to that statement microphone, every detail was made to celebrate his love for music.

And as always, I’m grateful to Jesus for the gift He has given me.
Every cake I get to create is another reminder that our gifts have a purpose, and I never want to take mine for granted.

Every good and perfect gift is from above.

I shared this beauty on a reel last weekend but completely forgot to give her a proper spot on my feed.

And she definitely deserves one!

All the pink, the ruffles, flowers, butterflies and little gold details.
I really loved how this one came together for a special 5th birthday.

Just leaving her here because she’s too pretty not to post.

When the birthday cake has to match the Firebender energy!

Something a little different and I love how this one came together.

An Avatar Firebender-inspired cake for a 19th birthday , ivory buttercream, deep burgundy details, touches of gold and of course, plenty of fire 🔥🤎

Simple, bold and still a showstopper!

Three layers of soft, moist chocolate sponge
Filled with creamy, smooth goodness
Finished with rich chocolate that melts on every bite

It’s not too sweet… just perfectly balanced.
