I have a thing for a birds…

I was trying to not create one more cake with a peacock but when I saw stationery, there was no way to go in different direction..

I recently remembered my Granny was telling me stories about birds and their weddings when I was little.
We would hear them very loud in summer nights as I grow up on country side..
I was always dreaming birds would invite me to the wedding, even looked in to bushes when I would go for a walk..
Maybe it’s because my last name Kos means a Blackbird..

What ever connection it’s is, this was a dream project to be involved in.

This cake and me had some big adventures…

Flying from London to Lake Como with the real cake in hand luggage it’s no joke..
The bag with the cake went through security check, was put in overhead storage, changed taxi, hotel…After couple nerve break downs and hart attacks I arrived and the cake had no damage.
Good insulated packing and ice packs did the trick and our couple happily enjoyed it..

The funniest thing was that for a good part of filming couple didn’t in realised it’s a cake on the table in front of them.. And that was exactly my and Kristin idea when we started to plan how to incorporate the cake in to whole story and table scene..
Mission accomplished.

It was incredible day with the dream come true team. Thank you everyone for this adventure.
