3am wake up, 3:45 arrive at kitchen, pack van, leave at 4:45, drop off 4 markets to start at 7:30am to set up. We are back today at Artisan Foodie Market Real Food Festival Duke of York Square London Farmers Markets Wimbledon and Barnes Farmers Market Tomorrow is the new Highbury Farmers market and the usual Blackheath and Herne Hill. We have bits missing equipment wise but we're due to pick up a van next week and in the coming weeks we will buy what we need. The police have not called us back or picked up the CCTV.

We have cakes and look forward to seeing you all 🍰🍰🍰

Thank you for helping us carry on doing what we do. It's been nearly 20 years of markets come rain or shine, annual local fairs and bespoke cakes.

Today it is two weeks since our van was stolen. Yesterday the CCTV became available and now we are waiting for the police to request the footage. Two men can be seen taking the van at 21:55 on Friday 24th July.

Our van was stolen on Friday 24th or Saturday 25th July along with all our gazebos, tables, trolley and boxes. Two weeks earlier it had sat broken down for almost 72 hours in Barnes before the AA picked it up. The week it was stolen it had a £1000 repair to then be stolen two days later. It's gone, the police has done little to recover it. Insurance is so expensive we have third party only so we will have to find some way to buy another one. We are away from the markets only coincidentally - it was just to give all of us a break even though we are not going anywhere as last year we didn't take a break. Instead we are now spending this time trying to find a way to return as normal on Saturday 15th August.

I want to say thank you to Jess and her team at Perry Court Farm and also Kristina and her team at Aston's Bakehouse Markets for answering my messages at 4:30am that Saturday and bringing me gazebos and tables so I could do the markets. Thanks to Alistair at Simplyhandmade.london for bringing some paper bags for us at Chelsea and everyone who answered my early messages for help.

It isn't insurmountable, it's just yet another challenge and a bit of a gutter. See you all on 15th.
