So September has arrived and we are back well that is Wedding Cake Artist London & Surrey Hayden Beeman and Cf & Mc Stear Greengrocers who will be outside Metro Dry cleaners/ Savers along New Malden high street. I will have my Artisnal bespoke cakes and sweet treats. So come along and support our local businesses and purchase your goodies. There will be local New Malden Honey, so stock up. So when your nephew announces to the family that for his birthday he wants the theme to be pink and white. OK, but then to the astonishment of the family. My nephew was insisting he wanted a pink and white toilet roll birthday cake. When i heard this, I immediately contacted my cousin/brother to make absolutely sure this wasn't a joke. It wasn't and i was asked numerous times will i make it. Now this request was a first and apart from doing a fair bit of research and making sure could I make this cake. This particular cake was to be transported to Geneva, Switzerland, as my family live there. So with the enormous help of Basildon boxes whom had the exact size box and Swiss International Air Lines whose crew were super helpful. Let me present my nephew's birthday cake which consisted a marble sponge with Vanilla Italian meringue buttercream. The reaction of my nephew and all the family was a big smile and a big hit with everyone and that cake.

During this heatwave and being over tired. Determination on making something which has been on my bucket cake/baking list for a very long time and researching various and I mean various recipes. So last night after remembering to purchase full fat milk. Action was put into place and was determined to make something which I have sort of being scarred but I have to conquer my fear. So last night from start to finish (2am), I made my first batch of cinnamon buns/rolls. As usual I have a good bunch of work testers who give me great feedback (usually its a sooooo good to amazing)....will see how these goes.

When you receive an enquiry and it turns out to be from an old client who had previously order cakes from me. Well it was lovely catching up with them as the last cake I made was the client's daughter's christening cake. So it was a joy to be asked to make F first Holy Communion cake but it was a during extreme heat wave we recently encountered. The feedback was a sucess and a big sigh of relief.
