On a sunny warm Saturday, I delivered this iced two tiered wedding cake for a lovely couple who were having their reception at the gorgeous in Hammersmith. Based on a picture which the bride sent and I would love to give credit to the original maker. As the original picture had a real Arum lilly, i managed to get out of my comfort zone and made sugar arum lillies. Both sponges were red velvet with vanilla Italian meringue buttercream. Huge thank you to Hugo who helped move the wedding cake down to the cellar and was very supportive with the process. Huge congratulations to K & P, you definitely chose a fantastic day.

When you happen to be on a break and head to the a shop expecting to pick up a bottle of original mermaid gin (the blue bottle one) But when you speak to the nice person in the shop, they produce this and all I can think is which buttercream this would go with and what sponge.....so this will be a limited edition cake... happy days

International Women's day and these four women have been incredibly instrumental in my life. They have shaped me to be the person whom I am today...no the grumpy moans one...thats from my dad. But these four women being my Grandmother, mother, aunt (mums sister) and my other aunt have been there through the fun, happy times and to the times where it has been tough and painful. Guess what....look who is back.. me and . We will be back this coming Saturday 7 March outside Metro Dry cleaners along New Malden high street. So I will have bespoke handmade cakes and sweet treats together with local New Malden Honey provided by Hayden.
