How many of you remember those cookies that used to come in their own individual paper cups and packed in a blue and white tin? House of Manji tins they were called in Kenya.

I remember as a child I would be super excited when I saw that tin and once the cookies were over, the blue tin would end up as a storage box for trinklets or something of that sort.

The same memory came back over this weekend. Looking for a blue tin flashed back memories.

I hope it is bright and sunny where you are but where I am it is grey and rainy, which means it is definitely time to brew a cup of chai and dunk our Kenyan biscuits.

A typical tradition that I remember my family and I would follow back in Kenya is on a weekend when everyone would be at home we would.. Take the big tin of biscuits out along with a few other savoury snacks, brew some hot chai and just sit down and enjoy 😍
