SEVEN/SEVEN ✨ Starting right now (well, tomorrow morning to be precise) Astrid Atelier will be open every single day of the week. It takes a lot to be able to do this so we are a little bit proud of ourselves today.

Astrid scenes this week: the last of the peaches, new pastries and pink packaging! This weekend we celebrate the end of summer with our delicious Bank Holiday Breakfast Trolley. Peach & Almond Turnovers, Raspberry Maritozzi, Clotted Cream Strawberry Tarts and peach Honey Danish, alongside all our other croissants and pastries. And of course we’ll have sourdough, soft serve and sausage rolls in the Atelier, and Bacon Morning Rolls all weekend long. Get excited 💫

But why the obsession with rows of things? Who knows, that’s just how it is. Anyway, another big week here at Astrid with many rows of beautiful products and pastries; the seemingly endless heatwave combined with some unseasonably festive recipe testing; a plumbing disaster (because not a week goes by without something breaking), and -sweetest of all- complimentary results day ice creams for all our nearby A Level students 🤍

My favourite story about our granola of is the family who found half a bag of it stashed in the larder of their Cotswolds Airbnb, became addicted, then tracked us down and made a pilgrimage to the Croissant Hatch to stock up. We’ve put our contact details on the labels since then, but Astrid Ultra Luxe Granola is still made exactly the same way: 50% of whole cashews, pecans, hazelnuts and almonds; jumbo rolled oats, honey and spices toasted in the oven. It’s made us incredibly proud that we have this week been recognised for it by The Guild of Fine Food, AND it’s all coincided perfectly with the arrival of our gorgeous new labels for both the reusable glass jars and refill bags. Serendipity indeed 🤍
