I’m hanging up my apron!

…but it’s just temporary while we undergo some major house renovations. It’s a bigger job than we initially expected (underpinning, structural issues, new roof, exterior tiles & rendering etc), so I will be closed until December.

Hoping to bring my Pinterest board to life with my own baking pantry 🙌🏼

To Infinity & Beyond!!!!! 🚀

Had a blast (see what I did there!!) creating this cake for a very special Toy Story-loving birthday boy 🥳

3 layers of 8 inch vanilla sponge with a light jam layer & covered in Swiss Meringue Buttercream. When the icing is so light & cream like, I paired it with a more sturdy sponge so the cake stands well in the heat and is not overly sweet.

Chocolate Heaven 🤩

I love creating birthday cake ideas with my Goddaughter- we start talking through ideas months before the big day. Pinterest boards/print outs & bespoke toppers!

For turning double digits we went in hard with the chocolate 🍫 🍫 🍫
3 x 7 inch layers of moist chocolate sponge with chocolate ganache in between the layers. Covered with a chocolate Swiss Meringue buttercream and decorated with chocolate sprinkles & curls. 🤩

I know there is a trend for heart shaped cakes right now, but I just love a rectangle!!!! It kinda has an American sheet cake vibe and it slices up really easily- so perfect for a dessert when you are out celebrating 🎉

(Selfishly, it’s also much less stressful trying to store & transport 🙃).

This is 2 layer, 9x13 inch vanilla sponge with a jam layer. Covered in a vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream and acrylic bespoke topper frpm 🍰

When you can’t choose your favourite superhero….why not have all 4 on one cake! I love how these icing colours pop against the chocolate background!

I found this box at Hobbycraft a while ago and have been desperate to use it. This week’s order of an Old School cake was the perfect opportunity! 🙌🏼

A 8 x 12 inch vanilla sponge cake with a traditional icing glaze and piped American buttercream to finish. Edible personalised topper. 💕
