A Venezuelan Rum Fruit Loaf! 💐

Our pastry chef found inspiration from her mom's fruit cake with a special twist. "It is a childhood souvenir of the cake Mom used to make on Sundays when I was young. Instead of caddied fruit, I added Venezuelan Rum to macerate the fruits" 😉

Our Venezuelan Fruit loaf is a delicate and soft sponge, flavoured with orange zest and contains a mix of cranberries and Bramley apples mixed with citrus peel, glazed ginger and walnuts. All these ingredients are macerated in a Venezuelan rum infused with black tea and spices. Our fruit loaf is drizzled with an orange icing glaze to enhance the sweet flavours.
