Not the kind of video I ever thought I’d have to make 🥲💗

UPDATE: The person involved has since returned to apologise, which I genuinely appreciate. This video was filmed and edited before that happened, but my feelings still stand.

It’s never been about the value of what was taken, it’s about the principle. Our little cake shed runs entirely on honesty and trust, and unfortunately, things like this put that at risk.

I’ve also been in touch with local schools to raise awareness of what happened and have since provided an update following the apology. I really hope this serves as a reminder that taking something without paying is never okay.

I’m not here to name and shame anyone, and I absolutely believe in second chances. I’m glad he came back and took responsibility, and I hope something positive can come from this. 🫶🏼

The love and support we’ve received from our community has been incredible, and the last thing I want is for one incident to ruin something that so many people enjoy.

Please be kind, be honest and look after our little cake shed. She’s my pride and joy 🥹💕

After having yesterday off, we’re back open today with a shed full of goodies! 🥰🍰

We’ve got a couple of new treats today too! 👀 Hot Chocolate Cookie Pies and Lemon & Coconut Cake 🍋🥥

Plus lots of your usual favourites, including Terry’s Cookie Pies, Kinder Brownies, Loaded Lotus Brownies and plenty more! 🤤

I’m off to a family gathering, and I thought I had more time, but the one downside of baking everything fresh is that sometimes things don’t set in time 😭 so we’re closing for today, I may reopen in the evening depending when I’m back! So sorry to disappoint, unfortunately being a one man team sometimes has its down sides 🥲

To make up for it, the shed will be open tomorrow! 💕💕

The cookie pie situation has been getting a little out of hand 🤣😭

Between the 9–5, baking, stocking the shed and doing absolutely everything myself, finding time to restock ingredients has been a mission 😂

BUT we have chocolate chips, we have approximately 5000 Happy Hippos (slight exaggeration) and most importantly… WE HAVE COOKIE PIES AGAIN!! 🍪🤎

🍰 School cakes and cookie pies will be available from 6pm today! We’ll also be replenishing any brownies that have sold out at 6pm, so don’t panic if your favourites are gone!
