We made into this mornings Times talking about what Freedom Day means to businesses like ours - well we dont know ? the Blonde Himbo Boris and his team have failed to produce any guidance for the food industry. While he and his mates fiddle or are busy on the fiddle all the while Rome burns . We are still no nearer to any kind of guidance. I have a duty of care to protect my team and customers and we will do so with the same rigour we have done throughout this pandemic. And when todays so called government is finished fiddling with themselves, they may get round to sharing their well thought-out strategy with us. Ohh how stupid of me they dont have one do they. The outcome is going to be a simple one, our ever rising operational costs will be become too much, there will be no staff and sending customers the food will be more expensive..so the supply chain will grind to a halt. As no one will be working because everyone will all be isolating, courier companies will cherry the pick the customers they want and others will close because they won't be able to afford to run them.
