What an amazing journey this little cake business has been! From weddings to birthdays (and even a celebrity cake! 🌟), it’s been such a joy to be part of so many special occasions. 🎂💖

The time has come for me to hang up my apron and focus on family life and my preschool work, so I’ll no longer be taking cake orders.

I just want to say the biggest THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me, shared kind words, and trusted me with your celebrations – it truly means the world. 🥰

✨ Wedding Ready in Assynt ✨

Last week I had the absolute joy of creating a very special wedding order — a sweet mix of fun and elegance that perfectly reflected the couple’s style. 💍💙

💠 40 chocolate Highland cow cupcakes — each one hand‑decorated with chocolate buttercream “fur” and fondant features for that cheeky Highland charm.
💠 40 vanilla cupcakes in soft blue and white, finished with swirls, rosettes, and delicate pearls for a touch of classic elegance.
💠 A rich fruit cake top tier, covered in smooth luxury sugarpaste and finished with a bespoke VW campervan design — a nod to the couple’s love of adventure.

Seeing everything come together on the table made all the hard work worthwhile. Thank you so much to the happy couple for trusting me to be part of your special day — wishing you a lifetime of love and laughter. 💕

🎨🐓 Happy Birthday Paul & Val! 🐓🎨

This one was a joy to create — a hillwalking-inspired cake with hand-piped grassy borders, rolling edible mountains, and a nod to two of life’s great pleasures: chickens and painting! 🥾🌄🎨

Wrapped in a custom edible print and finished with piped buttercream details, this 5-inch-tall cake celebrates Paul and Val’s special day with a splash of creativity and a little countryside charm.

Toppers include a fondant paint palette and brush, rustic wooden sign (completely edible), and of course — a pair of feathered friends keeping watch! 🐔💚

Wishing Paul & Val a day full of colour, laughter, and cake!

✈️✨ Up, up and away! ✨✈️

This fun sky-themed cake was a joy to make — fluffy vanilla sponge layered with dreamy Nutella buttercream, all topped with a silky white chocolate ganache. Finished off with clouds, a vintage plane, and a personalised banner — perfect for a little adventurer’s celebration!

🦖✨ A Dino Cake Adventure! ✨🦖

Sometimes cakes have a mind of their own — and this little dinosaur hilltop is living proof!

This cake was inspired by a tall layered carrot cake design, but baking vegan can come with unexpected twists. Where I live, I can’t get vegan block butter — so I used vegan spread instead, which stays soft and doesn’t set quite like traditional butter or block alternatives do.

That meant the buttercream wouldn’t hold its shape as planned, and after a few surprise collapses (and a lot of deep breaths!), I decided to switch to fondant to save the day. The result is a sweet little dinosaur scene on a grassy hill — a bit different from the original plan, but just as delicious. 💚

This carrot cake is fully vegan-friendly, moist, and gently spiced — the only thing that changed was the look, not the taste! 🌿🧁

Sometimes plan B ends up being even cuter than plan A. 🥰

This farmyard birthday cake was a labour of love — complete with green pastures, a white picket fence, flowers in bloom, a muddy pig or two, and some four-legged friends keeping watch! 🐑🐶🐖✨

Handmade details, edible “mud,” and a whole lot of character — i love bringing your countryside stories to cake life. 💚
