May has FLOWN by! It’s been full of manic mornings, burnt cookies, sugar EVERYWHERE, first catering jobs of the year, new staff and queues, beautiful queues!

Thank you all so much for coming and then coming again! Like I have said many times before it’s a dream come true.

We have so much more planned, we will be getting round to making bread but we just don’t have the space at the moment.

We would really like to not run out of buns so early. We also want to make sure people aren’t disappointed to find we have run out.

It’s all coming albeit slowly.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for being so supportive as we find our feet.

Been a long old slog to get here but we are over the moon and can’t wait to bring you all more!

This Sunday brunch!! 10-11.30am

Breakfast ramen
Pork belly or mushroom and miso
Noodles, veg, tasty broth and soy eggs

We’ll have our delicious chilli oil available for anyone that wants.

We will also have our classic avocado toast with a choice of toppings.

Bakery will also be open from 10am

A few snaps of the beautiful wedding we catered for on Saturday on the island of Luing. (Photobombed by the brides beautiful dog 😍)

As our bakery side of the business grows I fear my catering days may be coming to an end.. but we’ll see! We loved this one.

We were so lucky to have incredible roast beef and beautiful local langoustines.
The bride and groom asked for big salads to go along side the beef, prawns and free-range chicken.

Salads were as follows -

Orzo, watermelon, tomato, feta and pickled onion
New season potatoes, mustard dressing, pickled fennel and fresh fennel from the garden
Homemade ricotta asparagus and absolutely incredible dressing of fresh herbs and delicious olive oil.
And lastly pomegranate slaw.

The barn was decorated so beautifully we didn’t have to do much at all to make it look great!

This Sunday our brunch menu is as follows :

• Avocado toast with a choice of toppings
Smoked bacon
Halloumi
Poached eggs
Hot smoked trout

• Breakfast tacos with spicy sausage, fried eggs, cheese, salsa and pickled chilli’s

• Garlic mushrooms, fried eggs, cheese, salad and pickled chilli’s

Tacos are gluten free

Gluten free bread available

As we are finally settling into Steamer life. We thought it might help if we made sure you know what we’re up to.

We have managed to take the best parts of the 6 years at the cafe and turn them into what we are doing now.

Restaurant, bakery, great wines and beers, weekly brunch and the occasional supper club.

If you have any questions about what we’re up to give us a comment or drop us an email. We know there’s been a lot of changes so we’re more than happy to help!

After two absolutely incredible days (thank you everyone!)

We have been absolutely blown away with the response!

I have been baking all day to ensure we have plenty ready for 10am tomorrow. P.s we are also open on Monday! Woo!

New opening hours!!!

Bakery opens tomorrow (we still haven’t got our coffee machine wired in yet - it’s happening tomorrow morning)
