Newtown bread lovers! Due to forecast high winds on Tuesday morning, our usual stall will not be available to us on Broad Street.

Instead we will have a stall just inside the Bear Lanes Shopping centre. Find us from 10am between The Works and Severn Hospice. Hopefully we will be back to normal next week.

Also for your diaries, we will be outside Hafan Yr Afon this Saturday 17th for Apple Day. More details on that later this week

Did you know we deliver all the way over to Kerry post office and shop on a Friday morning? (Plus some other stops along the way) Get in touch directly with them by Wednesday morning to order bread, pastries and focaccia for late Friday morning collection

Hi folks, we had a really busy weekend at the Newtown Food Festival so we'll be having a day off baking tomorrow.

See you soon, back baking as usual on Wednesday

We will unfortunately not be in Newtown next week either (16th), as our van has to go into the garage

Put orders in at Cambrian Butchers Butchers in Newtown for collection on Friday

We were so busy at Newtown Food Festival yesterday that I had no chance to take any photos but we've been baking all morning. We are going to be at the festival from 10 am Sunday morning with all the usual stuff:

- sourdoughs
- tins
- ciabatta
- baguettes
- focaccia
- pastries

Come and find us in the food tent and come and say hi to Jo and Emily.

We won't be at Newtown Market this coming Tuesday and we won't be baking for Llanidloes Tuesday either because we're all having a morning off. So fill your boots today. Come and see us.

It's the Women's Tour of Britain 2026 in Llanidloes today. We have nailed the bake! Getting up at 3 am was worth it and everything is in Great Oak Foods now already.

Come down and support the town, buy some stuff and have a great day!

The race starts at 11am.
