We’re still on a bit of a high after meeting royalty yesterday! 👑

It was such a fantastic honour, as part of the carnival committee, to be right outside the doors of the Hanging Gardens with our wonderful Carnival Queen Kirsty, who had the very special task of presenting flowers to HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales. A truly unforgettable moment for our little community 💐

This weekend we’re celebrating all things Welsh as we get ready for St David’s Day and Cymraeg Amdani Llani! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I sound like a stuck record lately, but wow… this weather is SO bad isn’t it? 😭🌧️

So we’ve got something new today that’s absolutely perfect to warm you up, a Spicy Beef & Pepper Pasta Bake 🔥

I know what I’m having for my lunch… and I’m not just saying that because I made it! 🤣
As I’m writing this we might’ve sold nearly all of it already, but if it does sell out don’t worry, there’ll be another one tomorrow! 😉

Our savoury counter is fully loaded today too, and our hot bap is roast pork, apple sauce & gravy this week! 🤤

Is it just us or has it rained EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. of 2026 so far?! 🌧️ And today is absolutely keeping the streak alive 🙃

BUT don’t let the miserable weather get you down! Our counter is FULL of Valentine’s goodies ready to bring the cheer! 🥰

The sell-out Malteser cookie pie slices are BACK (you know how fast those disappear 👀) and we’ve got a brand new flavour too… Milky Way & Magic Stars!! Basically childhood in a slice 😍

We’ve also just put out a Galaxy Caramel chocolate cake slice and honestly… it will not hang around long, so if you want one, you’ll need to be quick 🏃‍♀️🍰

🎄 Christmas Eve at The Little Bakeaway! 🎄

It’s Christmas Eve and also our very last day open of 2025! 😳

We’re open today from 11am–2pm for collections, with a limited amount of goodies left on the counter if you’re looking for a last minute Christmas treat! 🍰✨

We’ve got whole trays of brownies or blondies decorated with Christmassy sweets! They’re the perfect Christmas dessert to share with family and friends! 🎄🍫

We’ve also got a small selection of sandwich fillings available if you fancy grabbing lunch on the go while you’re out and about. 🥪

⏰ Please note: we will be closing promptly at 2pm so we can head home and start prepping our big Christmas dinner, so please make sure you’re on time for any collections today.
