Where it all began! I’ll be doing mixed bags as a wee throwback for collection/delivery this Friday (15th). You can choose any combination you like. These will keep in the fridge for at least 10 days and in the freezer for 3 months - an excellent chance to stock up before I shut up shop in August 🥲

So, I have some news…!

I started this business 6 years ago 😱 whilst on mat leave with my younger son (during lockdown), mainly as something to have for myself outside of being a mum, and certainly never anticipating leaving my existing job to run the business full time!

I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to do something that I love for so long and to have had the flexibility to be so present for my boys during their earliest years. The support I’ve had from the local community has meant so much to me and is what has allowed me to run the business for this long. I really can’t thank my customers enough, especially the many very loyal ones ❤️ Being able to work with other local businesses as a supplier has been the cherry on top of the (chocolate 😉) cake.

Now that both of my boys are well settled in to school, I have decided it is the right time to return to full time employment. I am excited to have accepted a job offer and will be starting this September! Whilst I’ll miss BAKED by Pippa a lot - especially the customers - I am so looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life. When I’m old and grey, I will look back on these last few years as some of the best of my life 🥰

I will be running as usual until August so do please still continue to place orders as usual 😅 I’m thinking of doing some pick your own treat boxes and mixed bags for nostalgia’s sake over the next couple of months so keep eyes peeled for that and be sure to let me know if there’s anything in particular you’d like to see!

My birthday boy and the cake he decorated! 🎮🎂

He always goes for a lemon cake so I made vanilla cupcakes to hand out at his party as more of a crowd pleasing flavour (and because cupcakes are so much easier than cutting cake slices 😅)
