Throwing it back to pop up number 2 🥺

It was just before the summer was starting I deffo was a lot more nervous for this than the recent one, it just goes to show the more you put yourself out your comfort zone the more confidence you’ll always gain 🤍

A complete baking fail but still feel like the day was an absolute win 🤍

around 400 of my cookiess *completely big FAT FAIL
(more detial on the tiramisu ones coming soon 😅)
but I really was sat there completely meltdown the entire day before the pop up convinced everyone was gonna be disappointed and i was literally gonna be hated 😭

I think when you’re building something yourself, moments like this actually feel SO much bigger, Im deffinelty really an emotional person and I really do care about people enjoying what I create and their opinions.🌟

obviosuly social media sometimes only sees the clippets of whats going on with me sharing the queues and sold out moments so its easy to forget there’s this side that’s really stressful and emotional constantly behind the scenes.

I really reminded myself tho like im not a big ass production company, im literally in my mums kitchen... of course things are gonna go wrong and guess what people still showed up. That was the biggest thing realising that i was met with so much understanding and yet still so much support on the day. It definetley needed to happen i think to help boost my confidence.

mistakes are always gonna happen.. self reminder it dosent mean you stop, you just need to learn how to deal with them 🤍

Honestly another one of the most stressful parts before any pop-up that dosent get spoken about is figuring out how I’m actually gonna get everything there without being squashed between cookie boxes in the back of my dad’s car 😭

He is usually playing Tetris with everthring the mornig of and we actually end up taking two cars sometimes so after one of the most chaotic baking weeks ever, being gifted a for the day genuinely made such a difference 🥹

For the first time ever I could fit everything into one vehicle, have an actually calm drive over and not spend the whole journey stressing that the cookies were gonna fly across the back every time we turned a corner hahaha. Big bonus was my dad was in literal element driving that thing 🤍

Such a small part of the overall day, but it honestly brought so much calm to the whole experience of packing and unpacking everything 🤍 very very grateful thank you

Still processing this day honestly ❤️

Considering it was one of the hottest days of the year AND a Sunday bank holiday thank you so much to every single person that came, queued and bought a cookie to support my little business venture.🍪

Meant so much seeing some familiar faces return from the last pop-up aswell! 🥰

The amount of people travelling from different places honestly shocked me as well! the girls at the front of the queue had woken up from 7am to travel to the pop-up, there was a birthday girl that made sure Big Boy Bakery was one of her first stops before celebrating for the rest of the day, and two sisters visiting from Ireland who made the pop-up one of their stops whilst in Liverpool, I really could feel the support all day.

I think because so much had gone wrong during baking week I was genuinely so anxious beforehand, crying till 3am the night before thinking everyone was going to be disappointed. Instead I had so much understanding and support on the day from speaking to everyone🤍

still feels crazy to me that this time last year .uk was one of my go-to cafés whilst living in Barcelona during my study abroad, and somehow this year I collaborated for pop-up number 3 in there first UK location😳

Huge thank you to, & Hussein for making this happen, for the amazing posters & coffee tokens, and the assignments to finish so appreciate it so much and genuinely can’t wait to see what you’ve created.😊

(Also shoutout for absolutely pulling through that day, my dad was in his element driving that round 😭 more on that soon hahaha AD)

Ended the night at with the best pizza 🍕absolutely exhausted but very grateful to have such supportive friends around me 🌟

I hope you’re all enjoying your cookies and thank you again for supporting something that started only as an idea 3 months ago. 🥹

Always have a spiral before these pop-ups…
the anxiety and nerves sky rocket high (especially when things go wrong before hand 😅 - more to come on that)

So before them gotta just remind myself it will all be fine and honestly after the first 10 mins I usually then just enter a flow state and I just switch off. But the build up be real

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet since pop up just reloading & catching up on sleep, so haven’t been on the socials…but pop-up videos are coming up soon 🤭

But omg what an incredible bank holiday Sunday!! 🤩🤩Thankyou once again Liverpool for making it memorable, it was so lovely chatting to you all and seeing you all turn up I was really doubting the turnout because of the heat but did not disappoint ❤️

so excited to go through the videos and photos when I go to editing, was so busy on the day I don’t even think I got to take it all in so will nice to relive it 🥹
