Well, what a fantastic month it’s been for the Cookie Cupboard. I’ve been blown away by all the lovely comments and support for my little cupboard.
This time last year, having my own little honesty cupboard was in the planning stages as I was researching what shed to buy, what to make and where to source all my packaging. My cupboard enables me to share my love of baking with everyone in the community and I just love it.
From the start of the month with our Yorkshire Day themed bakes to today with more favourites, I have enjoyed baking every single thing.

So thankyou so much to each and every one of you who supports us. Whether it’s a like and share on SM or buying from us in person, it is all appreciated.

Good morning everyone! The Cookie Cupboard is back open for Bank Holiday Monday.
We had a massive thunderstorm yesterday evening but the cupboard did well throughout the day! We have had a little restock but I ran out of Double Deckers so one batch of brownies has had to become Twix ones instead. We only have 3 pieces of Rollo Cookie Bar left.

Good morning everyone!

Only a handful of items left on this drizzly, damp Monday morning. I’m open today as it’s the school holidays. If you need a little pick me up, come and grab a treat while you can.
We will not be open next weekend owing to a family commitment so it’s the last chance to get some cake until Sunday 30th August when we are able to open next!

Once again thankyou so much for all your support with the cookie cupboard. It really is appreciated.

We are open today- this is all I have left as we had a busy day yesterday. I did make the carrot cupcakes as promised. Only putting a few out at a time because they contain cream cheese.
Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Hello everyone! We’re all getting ready for the Cookie cupboard opening this weekend with some new treats. The bakes are all ready for Smart Cookie Sam’s Cookie Cupboard opening this weekend.

Not sure if anyone really fancies cake in this hot weather but I’m opening anyway. We have five bakes ready but I’ll be adding one more when I get them organised.

Hi everyone!
I haven’t had the Cookie Cupboard out since the Easter holidays as I was away. Then last weekend I had a stinking cold so didn’t want to be spreading my germs around!
This weekend I am baking but this time it’s for Little Ouseburn Open Gardens. Instead, there will be a pop up cafe (affectionally named Sam’s Cafe) in our front garden from 10am-5pm. My mum and I will be there all day plus a group of fabulous local volunteers who are on the rota to help.
If you are in the area, do pop on down. I have already started on the baking and can’t wait to share what I have baked with you all!

Alzheimer’s Fundraiser Update: finally got to the bank to pay in all the cash donations given to me from the Alzheimer’s stall from nearly 2 weeks ago!
Our final amount was £315 which was actually £3 more than we raised last year!
I have just paid the money to my JustGiving page.
Still over the moon and totally blown away by that amount especially as everything is so expensive now. Thankyou so much once again. Xx
