Thank you for everyone who has visited Butterflies throughout the year . Now is the time for our summer break and time for our volunteers to rest . We start meeting again from Wednesday 9th September.

If you are wanting to join us on 15th July for afternoon tea it is essential that you rsvp either by messaging this page by 8th July or via the options shown on the poster attached. You can of course let us know in person Wednesday 8th July .This is to ensure we know numbers for catering . Thank you for your understanding.

Today we will be back in the Brayford Suite , we we will be doing paper butterflies or you can have a go doing summer lanterns .

Please note the last Wednesday before the Summer Holidays is 15th July.

Butterflies Wednesday 24th June -we are still meeting but in the main church auditorium, please wait in Alive Church reception and one of our volunteers will fetch you once the area is ready. This change is due to it being much cooler in the church than upstairs in the Brayford Suite .

We understand that you may choose to not attend due to the heat but our volunteers will be on hand with cold drinks and ice lollies also .

This Wednesday we will be decorating wood slices . As usual there will be access to diamond painting , jewellery and adult colouring books.

Please note that Butterflies will be downstairs on Wednesday June 10th, if you come to reception one of our volunteers will meet you there and take you to the room .

Due to the room change light refreshments will be limited more than normal as we may not have access to the kitchen .

We will still meet between 12.45-2.15 as usual in Alive Church Newland.

As always there will be a selection of crafts available and the new schedule for the Summer Term .

There is always light snacks and refreshments available. In the past chip butties , home made soup as well as crumpets and fruit.

It's all free and female support workers are especially welcome .
