🍪✨ Well… this wasn’t part of tonight’s baking plan ✨🍪

After a long day of prepping, it was finally time to start baking all the fresh goodies ready for opening in the morning… or so I thought 😭

Unfortunately, our oven has decided it’s had enough and has broken down tonight 💔🔥
The earliest anybody can come out to fix it is 8am tomorrow morning.

Because of this, The Cookie Cabin will sadly be CLOSED on Friday while we get everything sorted.

BUT… we’ll be back with the cookie goodness on Saturday & Sunday 🍪🤎

I’ll also be posting this weekend’s menu tomorrow along with an update on the oven ✨

Thank you so much for your understanding and support — even little cabins have bad baking days sometimes 🥹🏡

We can’t wait to be back filling the cabin with the smell of fresh cookies very soon ✨

📣 Weekend Update from The Cookie Cabin 🍪

Because of a little-known fact… we’re actually massive Aston Villa FC fans! 💜🩵 and with celebrations in full swing after the Europa League Final victory 🏆🍻, The Cookie Cabin will be CLOSED this weekend while we recover from all the excitement (and possibly a few victory drinks 😅).

We’ll be back soon with fresh bakes and slightly quieter voices.

Please (via the power of social media) can the parents of these lads get in touch?!

While the youth of today often get bad press, these two restored an awful lot of faith at The Cookie Cabin this weekend!

They visited yesterday afternoon and left cash for their cookies, then returned in the evening to explain that they were 98p short earlier and they had brought back another £1.

Bless them! They didn't just post it through the letterbox and run, they rang the doorbell, apologised for disturbing, offered an explanation and tried to insist I took the £1!

Unfortunately we'd sold out* by the time they came back, and they'd disappeared before I could grab them a voucher.

We'd love to reward their honesty and manners, so if anyone recognises them and their parents could reach out, we can get a voucher to them to enjoy a free cookie each when we're back open next weekend 🍪🍪

One was wearing a Manchester United shirt with "Bobster" on the back if that helps!!

*Also, thank you to all of our amazing customers for another sell out weekend - we're so glad you're enjoying our baking 🥰

UPDATE: WE'VE FOUND THEM! One of the parents has been in touch and we'll pop a couple of extras in the oven for them next weekend! Thank you all for your help! 🙌
