It was my absolute pleasure to make this cake for a special lady turning 70.

This lady writes short stories about rabbits who’s burrow is under a roundabout and the book I was asked to make the cake on was called ‘Baking Day’.

The book is about mummy rabbit and son Norman making cakes, Norman makes a big mess on the floor with the flour and then when the cakes are ready he keeps tripping over lumps in the carpet that turn out to have been made by Sammy mole. They all sit together and have the cakes and mummy rabbit asks Sammy to use the front door next time he visits rather than making holes in her floor 💕It is a really lovely story.

I even received a lovely video thank you message 💕💕 how delightful xx

This was a fun cake to make, spaghetti and meatballs.

Given the challenges over the past year I have been rather quiet on the cake front. What with building work, kitchen renovations and that little thing called Corona Virus its been a challenge for us all, but I am back and asking you a favour....

Stitch!

It was my pleasure to make this Stitch cake for a lovely young lady turning 12.

Stitch from LILO and Stitch and some tropical flowers.

This was a four layer chocolate cake, with rich chocolate buttercream and chocolate ganache.

Loved making this cake 😍
