We are sisters, specialising in artisan bakery treats. Jane is a trained Cordon Bleu pastry chef, having trained at the Tante Marie Culinary Academy. Lucy’s background is in PR and marketing and together we have combined our skills to create the Tarte and Berry brand! Our treats are available to order through our online shop and are all handmade in our Leeds bakery, beautifully packaged and posted

Hello T&B followers! Well it's been a while since the days of Tarte & Berry brownies.

Jane, our Co-Founder, missed the baking so much that she set up a freelance Food Consultancy Business. Specialising in bakery and patisserie (OF COURSE), she creates recipes, develops them, tests them and then bakes some more!

If you are a retailer, manufacturer, restaurant or bakery and are looking for some support and expert advice do get in touch with Jane. She also makes delicious treat boxes for corporate gifting and large scale events (yes, to include T&B brownies!)

Hello to all of our lovely T&B followers. We hope you are all well and keeping safe 💗

We would like to let you know that sadly Tarte & Berry will not be re-opening as lockdown eases. It has been an INCREDIBLE six years for us growing and running the business from scratch, but we have made the decision that the time has now come to say goodbye to the world of chocolate brownies.

As difficult as lockdown has been, it has allowed us the time to really think about our priorities going forwards. We’re both ready to start new chapters and want to focus on other exciting areas of our lives and unfortunately running such a demanding business doesn’t allow for much else!

Trust us when we say it wasn’t an easy decision to make, running a cake company with your sister/best friend is literally the best thing in the world 💫 & we’ve got the most amazing memories to take away from it. From baking in Jane’s little home kitchen in 2014, to supplying the likes of Selfridges & Harvey Nichols, and selling OVER 1 MILLION BROWNIES from our very own bakery, it has been a dream come true ☺️👯‍♀️💜

THANK YOU SO MUCH to every single customer who has supported us on our journey. So many wonderful ups and also of course the downs (shout out also to the best friends & family who helped us through the tough times!). The food industry is relentless and a steep learning curve for two sisters who had never run a business before!

Who knows, perhaps T&B will return one day, in some form or other. Until that day arrives we will have such fond memories of all the countless food shows and markets, our amazing customers, the delicious recipe creations, our dedicated and loyal staff (Libby and Tracey, who stuck with us to the end, you are both super talented), and of course our very surreal Royal visit in 2018 😊👑

Hello to all of our lovely, loyal customers 💕

After many difficult conversations over the last few days we have made the tough decision to close down our online shop & no longer accept orders. We feel that this is the right thing to do in order to protect our staff and to not place further strain on the country’s essential supply chains during this time.

We cannot thank you all enough for the continued support we’ve received - not just over the passed couple of weeks but across the six years of trading. You’ve made all of our career dreams come true 👯‍♀🤩. Thank you for loving our brownies as much as we have enjoyed baking them for you ❤💝❤

Our website will be closed shortly, those orders already placed will be despatched from our bakery this week. If for any reason this becomes difficult we will let you know via email and issue full refunds to you. Please take care and we hope to see you with our freshly baked treats again in the future 🍰🍫

We want to help as many people in our community as we can at the minute & need your help please ❤.

Over the next day or so we would like to make hand deliveries of cake packages to the elderly nearby who may be struggling. I.e those who can’t get out to the shops and are reliant upon their neighbours. We will be leaving these on doorsteps for people.

Do you have a neighbour who would benefit from this, and live in the Farsley, Horsforth, Rawdon, Yeadon, Guiseley areas? If so please send over (via direct message pls - do not leave personal details on this public post) a name + address of the person. We will try our absolute best to deliver as many treat packages as possible 💝🚚❤

Hi Guys! Our online shop is still open & we’re still delivering our treat boxes across the country!! 💗🚚💝 we can’t guarantee how much longer we’ll be able to do this for but we’re keeping going for now.

Order today by 1pm for guaranteed delivery tomorrow. If you’d like to send your mum a box for Mother’s Day this Sunday, or just to a loved one to let them know you’re thinking of them during this unsettling time 💗❤💗. Isolating from friends & family is hard 💔 but we can pull through this together.

It’s the toughest time for everyone right now & we are thinking of you all.
