A huge congratulations to B & L, who recently celebrated their marriage at the lovely Thorngate Hall. 🤍🥂

And what a setting for their wedding cake! With beautiful white draping, gorgeous florals and touches of gold throughout, their elegant white and gold tiered cake fitted into the room perfectly. ✨

I absolutely loved creating all of the intricate gold detailing and delicate florals on this one — definitely a cake designed to make a statement! 🤍🌿

💍 Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hooper! 💍

A beautiful cupcake tower created for the new Mr & Mrs Hooper, who recently celebrated their wedding at the gorgeous Alverbank Hotel. 🤍

Keeping everything soft, elegant and timeless, their tower was filled with a delicious selection of cupcakes, finished with delicate lace wrappers, pretty florals and a simple textured cutting cake proudly displaying their new married name. 🥰

🎉 FIFTY & FABULOUS! 🎉

A very Happy 50th Birthday to Kevin, who celebrated his big milestone at the lovely Lee-on-the-Solent Golf Club ⛳️💙💛

And what better way to celebrate a 50th than with a day out on the golf course before heading inside to party the night away with family and friends! 🥳🥂

For the celebrations, we created this fabulous navy, white & gold cupcake tower, finished with a coordinating cutting cake, plenty of golden 50s and some personalised treats for the birthday boy. 🧁✨

I hope you had a fantastic day of golf, Kevin — with perhaps a few birdies along the way 😉 — followed by an equally brilliant evening celebrating such a special birthday.

💍💕 A very special thank you from Mr & Mrs Noble 💕💍

There’s something particularly lovely about receiving a message from a couple after their wedding day and hearing that their cake was enjoyed just as much as I hoped it would be. 🥰

This beautiful wedding cake was created for Mr & Mrs Noble and delivered to The Alverbank on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the summer! ☀️🥵

A huge thank you has to go to the wonderful team at The Alverbank, who kept the cake safely chilled until it was time for the all-important cake cutting. When temperatures are soaring, that little bit of teamwork behind the scenes makes such a difference. 💕

And then this lovely message arrived…

“Thank you so much for our wonderful wedding cake! All of the flavours were delicious — the chocolate and salted caramel were so popular Isaac didn’t get to try it! The fruit was lovely, and the little model of Lucy was absolutely perfect.” ❤️

I think Isaac missing out on his own chocolate & salted caramel cake might just be the best compliment I could receive! 🤣🍫

🌿 Hello August! 🌿

A brand new month begins, bringing with it another season of beautiful celebrations, treasured memories… and a chance to look back on some of the wonderful couples I’ve had the privilege of creating cakes for. 💕

This elegant two-tier design, finished with delicate textured buttercream and adorned with beautiful fresh flowers, was created for a wonderful wedding at the stunning Wickham Estate. The timeless simplicity of ivory tones paired with soft florals made it the perfect centrepiece for such a beautiful venue.

As we welcome August, I’m also looking forward to celebrating another anniversary with this lovely couple. Wishing you both a very happy anniversary when your special day arrives. 🥂❤️ Thank you for choosing Nanny Sam’s Cakes to be part of your wedding memories.

💙 Arthur-Lee is ONE! 💙

There are two stages to a first birthday cake…

Before Arthur-Lee… and after Arthur-Lee! 😂🎂

This little blue beauty left the Nanny Sam’s Cakes kitchen looking far too pretty to eat, complete with piped details, blue pearls and Arthur-Lee’s very own little birthday bear 🧸💙

But Arthur-Lee clearly understood the assignment… SMASH CAKE! 🤣

And judging by those fabulous photos, I think we can safely say the cake was thoroughly inspected, tasted, squished, shared with his toes and generally given the full one-year-old seal of approval! 😂💙

There’s something so lovely about seeing one of my cakes actually being enjoyed — and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one enjoyed quite as enthusiastically as this! 🥰

It was such a pleasure to create and deliver this elegant semi-naked wedding cake, beautifully dressed with delicate white flowers and fresh greenery to complement the relaxed, rustic feel of the day.

Set within the stunning surroundings of The Walled Garden at Holywell Estate, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for such a special celebration. From the characterful brick walls to the beautiful gardens, every detail came together to create a truly magical setting.
