I operate in and around Fetcham, delivering beautiful, artisan bread to your door. I believe that bread is integral to our diet and is one food that unites most cultures and has done so in many different forms for thousands of years. All my bread is made using organic stone ground flour, the best local produce and love to feed the body as well as the soul!

During one of my baking classes we will discuss how to make baking your own bread easy, fuss free and most importantly fit into your schedule. We will also discuss any issues you have with bread and how to overcome them by making healthy, digestible and preservative free bread that you can enjoy every day!
Over and above making all these delicious breads on my Introduction to Baking class I will also make you a delicious lunch and you'll take all your bakes and recipes home.
Sourdough classes available too.

No need to worry about your starter dying while you’re away. I’ve left mine for two weeks and it still lived to bake another loaf. It will be sluggish and need a few good feeds.

When you’ve unpacked and settled back home, take your starter out of the fridge and remove 3/4 of it. Refresh/feed it with equal quantities of flour and water, mix well and leave at room temperature for 8 hours. Check to see how active it is. If it’s not looking bubbly (like my picture) repeat the process again. You will soon be back and baking.

Hi Everyone,
Bookham Village Day is on the 21st of June and I'll be there. Come and say hi and get your fresh bread, sourdough granola, crackers/cracker kits, sourdough starter and more. I will also be doing freshly baked sourdough bagels with an assortment of fillings.
Over the coming weeks I'll also be busy harvesting edibles from RHS Wisley to mill into a meadow blend flour. If you'd like to learn about baking for health and how to mill your own flour then please check out my sourdough continued class on my website www.ameliasbakehouse.co.uk
