Join us for a hands-on adult and child baking session in the heart of Llansteffan, a beautiful coastal village with a medieval castle, estuary views, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.

Whether you're a complete beginner or just looking to brush up on the basics, this session is designed to be fun, relaxed, and genuinely useful. You'll work side by side, learning real baking skills you can take home and use again and again.

What to expect:

A warm, welcoming kitchen environment
Step-by-step guidance from an experienced baker
Hands-on learning, you'll make it, not just watch it
Something delicious to take home at the end

This course not only teaches you how to make bread and butter, but it is an exercise in 'zero waste', as you will use the by-product from making the butter (buttermilk) to make your own Soda bread.

You will walk away with:
🍞A hand made traditional loaf of bread made with malted grains.
👐A 250g block of hand churned butter, made with Cwm Dairy farm cream (Carmarthenshire) & seasoned with Halon Mon Welsh sea salt flakes.
🫓Hand made Soda Bread

This course does involve around 6 minutes of churning double cream, and although it isn't intensive, please make sure you are up to the task, if not, let me know before hand an i''ll happily help you out.

The course lasts 2 hours with free parking outside the venue. Why not book a table in our cosy bistro after your class, along with something sold from our fully licensed bar.

It's a great idea to arrive early and explore the surrounding area, with the beach a short stroll away from The Stores, and the nearby 12th Century Norman castle offers stunning views across the Towy estuary.
