The feedback from this cake has been amazing, thank you all 🩷 who would have known I was close to tears and stripped it back twice to re do 🤣 because I am the absolute fussiest person you will ever meet and do not like to make anything easy for myself 🫣

Debbie's review however absolutely made my whole day and I am so grateful for everyone of you who support me with every like, share, comment, order and re orders 🩷

Feel like I'm doing myself dirty here 🤣

But i was having a clean out of pictures recently and came across my first cake ever 🤣🫣

I was so out of my depth and had absolutely no idea what I was doing, an ex baker friend of mine and trusty Google helped me far more than they know 🤣 ... I said I would never bake again 🤷

Well... That ADHD that lurks deep inside me had other ideas and here we are 🤣

The second pic is my first paid commission and to think I was happy with that.... Thank goodness the buyer barely covered my costs because the shame 😱

Fast forward to my latest cake and I am so proud of how far I have come, not only in learning how to decorate cakes and cupcakes but how to bake them too, I took generic recipes off Google and played around and fed everyone I know free cake and cupcakes until I made those recipes my own... And not to blow my own trumpet, but they're pretty good bakes now 🫣

If you've been around from the start, I'm so sorry 🤣 and if you've gave me a second or third chance, thank you ❤️

I'll never stop getting that fluttering feeling knowing I am trusted to be a part of your special occasions and celebrations 🎉

6 vanilla cupcakes went out yesterday to help someone celebrate running the half marathon... I couldn't think of anything better after running 13.1 miles... I also could never run 13.1 miles 🤣🤷

I had the pleasure of making this cake for my niece recently.. her Mum gave me free reign with the only request being chocolate

I just know how much she loves crochet (she's quite amazing and very talented)

So of course I had to make a cake to match, handmade balls of yarn and crochet hook and buttons (all edible)... And 3 hours of making those 🤣

I think this may be my favourite cake yet
