⏰🚨 19 HOURS. TWO ICONIC WORLDS. ONE EPIC CAKE! 🎂⚡

ORDERED AT 8PM. READY FOR COLLECTION BY 3PM THE VERY NEXT DAY! 🤯

Now THAT’S what we call a last-minute cake challenge! 🖤❤️

When a request came through for a birthday cake combining two iconic favourites, Doctor Who and Stranger Things, we had just 19 hours to bring it all together!

From the unmistakable blue TARDIS and starry universe to the dark, mysterious world of the Upside Down, we absolutely loved combining these two completely different themes into one unique creation! 💙❤️

And beneath all those details?

🍫 Rich, indulgent chocolate sponge

🤎 Delicious salted caramel filling

Because a cake should taste just as incredible as it looks!

From planning and baking to decorating and those all-important finishing touches, this beauty was ready for its new home by 3pm the following afternoon! ⏰✨

We do love a creative challenge here at The Griffin Bakery & Celebration Co., and this was certainly one to remember!

💌 Forgot to order a birthday cake? Plans changed at the last minute?

Whilst we always recommend booking ahead, we can sometimes accommodate short-notice orders depending on our availability and the design required.

It’s always worth dropping us a message! 🥰

⛳💚 THAT’S A GIMME! 🏌️‍♂️🎂

FORE-get ordinary birthday cakes… this one’s a HOLE-IN-ONE! 😍⛳

We had so much fun creating this golf-inspired beauty, complete with its very own little putting green! 💚

From the vibrant hand-piped buttercream grass and sandy bunker to the golf tees, personalised Reebok flags and golf balls, every detail was designed to bring a little piece of the golf course to the celebration! 🏌️‍♂️✨

And can we just take a moment for that striking golfer silhouette and fabulous gold “That’s a Gimme!” topper?! 🤩💚

We absolutely LOVE the combination of soft pink and fresh green buttercream, finished with little touches of gold for something a bit different from your traditional golf-themed cake! 💕🌿

Because when you love golf this much, even your birthday cake deserves a place on the leaderboard! 🏆🎂

💌 Got a golf enthusiast in the family? Or perhaps someone with a hobby or passion you’d love to turn into a cake? We love bringing those personal touches to life!

☕💜 THE ONE WITH THE BIRTHDAY CAKE… 🎂✨

🎶 So no one told you life was gonna be this way… 👏👏👏👏

Could this cake BE any more iconic?! 🤭😂

We’re throwing it right back to one of our favourite creations, made for Leah’s 21st birthday back in 2022! 🥰

And for any fellow FRIENDS fans out there, this cake was absolutely packed with little details from the show! 😍

🛋️ The iconic orange sofa
💜 Monica’s purple door and golden frame
☕ The legendary Central Perk logo
🦞 Ross’s lobster
🎸 Phoebe’s guitar
🦃 Monica’s turkey, complete with sunglasses!
🥪 Joey’s beloved sandwich
🏷️ A personalised “Hello, my name is Leah” badge
😂 And of course… “HOW YOU DOIN’?”

All lovingly brought together in one big, nostalgic, two-tier celebration cake! 🎂✨

And our favourite finishing touch?

“THE ONE WHERE LEAH TURNS 21” 💜

Because when someone loves FRIENDS, you don’t just make them a birthday cake… you give them their very own episode! 🤭

We absolutely love looking back at some of our earlier creations. It’s a lovely reminder of just how many special celebrations we’ve been lucky enough to be part of over the years. 🤍

Now, the important question…

Who’s your favourite FRIENDS character?! 👀👇

We’re expecting some very strong opinions on this one! 😂☕

🧸💙 A BEARY SPECIAL CHRISTENING FOR DYLAN! 💙🧸

Soft baby blues, delicate neutrals and the sweetest little teddy bears! 🥹🤍

We absolutely loved creating this adorable cake to celebrate Dylan’s Christening Day - a beautiful design filled with handmade details and a whole lot of love! ✨

And here’s something you might not realise just by looking at it…

Every single teddy bear, balloon and piece of bunting was lovingly handmade! 🥰

🧸 Three adorable hand-modelled fondant teddy bears, each with their own little personality!

🎈 Handmade fondant balloons, complete with delicate little strings.

💙 Individually crafted bunting, personalised with Dylan’s name.

🎀 Finished with a soft blue ribbon, delicate bow and a personalised Christening message.

It’s these little details that make bespoke cakes so special. Every tiny bear, every balloon and every letter takes time, patience and a whole lot of care to bring together. 🤍

We love creating cakes that aren’t just something to eat, but a beautiful centrepiece for those once-in-a-lifetime celebrations.

Wishing Dylan and his family a wonderful Christening Day! 💙✨
