This year's Christmas baking consisted of 4 fruit cakes... 2 made & decorated, 2 just decorated....
16 dozen mince pies...
A dozen party ring cupcakes for our party ring mad little girl...
And more cheese straws & sausage rolls than I could count....

Phew... As per usual lots of baking! All baked out for now! Ready for the bakes that 2026 will bring!

It’s been a loooong time since I baked anything other than the 2yo 👧 cake for her birthday.

And although I’m still struggling with after effects of radiotherapy, I have LOVED getting my bake on 🎂

So, here’s how I rolled today making not 1, not 2, but 3, yep THREE Christmas cakes….! 🍰 They’re already soaking in brandy & loving it! All I can say is, thank god we have a dishwasher…. 🫕 think I used nearly every bowl in the house! 🙈
