Being part of a community is priceless — and small businesses are a huge part of keeping that community alive.
A couple of weeks ago I had the honour of helping Cwmann YFC members prepare for a cookery competition… and seeing those youngsters thrive, grow in confidence and achieve something together was honestly amazing.
It also took me right back to my own YFC days. I was lucky to have brilliant leaders when I attended Cwmann YFC — Gwen, Eiddig and Ronnie were always supportive… although you definitely didn’t say no to Gwen! 😂
It meant so much to see Gwen there watching the youngsters and celebrating their achievement too. A real full-circle moment.
Tomorrow is Gŵyl Fai in Cwmann — if you’re local, please come along and support it. So much work goes on behind the scenes to organise these events and it would be lovely to see a great turnout.
Then on Sunday we have the Christian Aid tea at the Chapel. A little different this year and not quite the big breakfast we’ve done for many years raising thousands locally — but tea, cake and raising money for charity is always worthwhile
Hope you all enjoy the sunny Bank Holiday weekend ☀️
And thank you so much for all your orders recently — you’ve been keeping me very busy. Posting will resume Tuesday🥰
