🤍 A little bit about the girl behind Izzy’s Bakes & Brews…
Hi, I’m Izzy, I’m 23 and I own and run Izzy’s Bakes & Brews ☕️🍰
I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself and told you a little bit more about me!
🍰 I LOVE baking. I always have done, and getting to turn something I’ve loved for years into my job still feels pretty surreal.
☕️ I absolutely LOVE coffee. Like… really love coffee 😂
👯♀️ I love spending time with my family and friends. They’re my favourite people and definitely keep me grounded when running a business gets a little hectic.
🎶 Music is a huge part of my life. It’s always been a safe space for me, and I’m particularly obsessed with country music. If there’s a country event happening, there’s a very good chance I’ll be there! 🤠
🎭 I actually did Music & Drama all the way through school and was ADAMANT that I was going to end up on the West End stage one day… so, obviously, I ended up running a coffee and cake shop instead 😂
Almost two years ago, I got the keys to my little shop, and it’s been one hell of a rollercoaster ever since. Running a business completely on my own is tough, but I genuinely wouldn’t change it for the world.
Because behind every coffee, cake, post and order is just me. I do the baking, coffees, cleaning, stock checks, ordering, accounts, paperwork, admin, social media, customer service… the whole lot!
It’s a LOT, but I’m so incredibly passionate about what I do and I absolutely love my customers and the little community we’ve created.
